Production Lead – Luling, LA

About the role

The Production Lead supports daily store operations and drives production performance to meet or exceed budget targets while upholding Goodwill’s standards, policies, and procedures. This role acts as a supervisor when assigned and ensures a safe, clean, and efficient back‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager or Production Manager in achieving monthly and annual production goals (minimum 110 garments per hour with 90% quality).
• Supervise and mentor Production Associates, stepping in as a supervisor during scheduled hours.
• Process donated garments, prepare them for the sales floor, and maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free store and back‑room, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroom upkeep.
• Enforce personnel and safety policies, ensuring compliance by all associates.
• Represent Goodwill positively to the public through clean displays and personable service.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience or 90 days in the service industry.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and occasional long hours.
