Production Expeditor, Mod Shop

About the role

Fender Musical Instrument Corporation's global Manufacturing team is looking for a Production Expeditor to join its team in Corona, CA. The role maximizes efficiency at each work center by moving finished goods and rework through the different phases of the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Expedite projects on the production floor where necessary.
• Maintain accurate production orders and distribute them to production workers.
• Compile and sort daily production information from shop-floor departments for share-file entry.
• Provide daily production information to shop-floor leads and help resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate daily scrap and rework, red-tag issues and document findings in the share-file database.
• Transfer ship-sheet data to share-file and generate a daily status report on past-due neck and body orders.
• Work cross-functionally to improve manufacturing processes and assess the Processing Goods Movements with Errors (Cogi) report, using SAP to clear errors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience and/or training.
• Able to handle large amounts of information without getting confused and to solve problems quickly.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to give effective feedback to the supervisor.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to type quickly and knowledge of SAP.
