Product & Privacy Paralegal

About the role

Playlist is seeking a Product & Privacy Paralegal to join its Legal Team. In this position you will bridge legal guidance with product, marketing, security, and other cross‑functional teams, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements across a global platform.

Key responsibilities

• Document product functionality and track regulatory requirements.
• Maintain privacy, product, and regulatory records for multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with product, engineering, marketing, security, procurement, finance and other stakeholders to support legal workflows.
• Draft, review and manage privacy‑related documents such as DPAs, privacy notices, and provisions.
• Conduct research on privacy laws, marketing regulations, consumer protection, accessibility and other compliance topics.
• Assist in evaluating AI tools and legal‑tech solutions, supporting implementation and automation initiatives.
• Track and organize the organization’s privacy program, including internal and external communications.
• Identify process improvements to enhance legal team efficiency and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• 5+ years of paralegal experience in an in‑house legal department, law firm, or a combination of both.
• Experience supporting product, privacy, marketing, consumer‑protection or regulatory matters.
• Background with global operations or technology products is strongly preferred.
