Product Marketing Director

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a senior Product Marketing Director to lead strategic initiatives across Marketing, Sales, Business Management and Process Support Engineering. The role shapes go‑to‑market strategy, drives field effectiveness and creates scalable tools that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to align Marketing, Sales, PSE and cross‑functional teams with business objectives.
• Partner with leaders to define requirements for sales and marketing processes, translating needs into actionable roadmaps.
• Lead high‑visibility, cross‑functional initiatives involving Marketing, Sales, PSE and Business Management.
• Advise senior leaders on resource deployment to improve marketing and field performance.
• Develop competitive analysis frameworks, product scorecards and value‑based pricing strategies.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in product marketing, commercial strategy or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with data‑driven problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, executive presentation and negotiation abilities.
