Product Management Consultant (Part-Time)

About the role

Axion Consulting & Technology Lab is looking for a part‑time Product Management Consultant to work on‑site in New York. You will partner with clients to shape product strategies, build roadmaps, and guide products from discovery through launch and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand business goals, customer needs and market opportunities.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis and user discovery to inform product decisions.
• Gather, analyze and prioritize business and product requirements.
• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, operations and business stakeholders to deliver product outcomes.
• Prepare client presentations, product documentation and strategic recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings and product planning sessions.
• Monitor product performance using data and analytics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and advise on product‑management best practices, AI adoption and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management, including strategy, roadmap development and full‑lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience in market research and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Background in management consulting or strategic advisory.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in New York City and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
