Product Engineer

AnythingAnything is an AI agent that turns English into apps, covering mobile, web, design, AI, backend, infrastructure and payments. It is looking for an experienced Product Engineer in San Francisco who wants real ownership, leverage and impact. The role suits someone who has shipped meaningful products and systems, thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys moving across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex, high-impact product work end to end, from early problem framing through production and iteration
• Lead the design and implementation of user-facing features across frontend and backend using TypeScript, React, Tailwind and Postgres
• Turn ambiguous product goals into clear technical plans and shipped outcomes
• Work closely with product and design on roadmap decisions and execution strategy
• Talk directly with users to understand workflows, pain points and opportunities
• Run fast iteration loops using feedback, data and firsthand product usage
• Raise quality through system design, testing and code review, and fix structural issues that slow the team
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing, feedback and strong technical examples

Required profile

• Several years of experience building and shipping production software
• Strong technical foundation from a CS program or equivalent real-world experience
• Experience owning significant product or system areas end to end
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with high ownership
• Nice to have: early-stage startup experience, deep collaboration with design and product, mentoring or leadership track record, personal projects or writing, and interests beyond engineering

• Debugging and reasoning through complex systems
• Clear written and verbal communication
