Product Development Co‑Op – Medical Device Orthopedics

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Summer 2026 Product Development Co‑Op to join its Foot & Ankle division in Atlanta. The co‑op will work 40 hours per week alongside senior engineers, contributing to the design and release of orthopedic implants and instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Support Product Development Engineers and the segment manager throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to final release.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, purchasing, regulatory, and quality assurance.
• Assist in identifying surgeon requirements and defining product characteristics.
• Create and modify 3‑D models to document design changes.
• Help compile the Design Dossier and other project documentation.
• Participate in surgeon symposia, focus groups and key‑opinion‑leader meetings.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
• Available for a full‑time, 40 hour/week commitment during the Summer 2026 term.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA.

Required skills

• 3‑D Modeling (CAD) experience.
