About the role

The Producer for CNN en Español is a senior‑level journalist and content leader responsible for shaping the editorial flow of daily broadcasts and digital platforms. You will drive story selection, manage rundowns, and ensure that each piece of content meets the highest editorial and creative standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor news feeds and identify top stories for multi‑platform distribution, including FAST channels and affiliate networks.
• Create and execute show rundowns, prioritizing breaking news and integrating key developments.
• Lead line production from pre‑show planning through live broadcast, maintaining precise timing and editorial quality.
• Provide real‑time editorial judgment during breaking news and rolling coverage.
• Integrate digital, social, and interactive elements to enhance audience engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a multi‑platform news producer or line producer.
• Strong editorial judgment with the ability to work under high pressure.
• Excellent writing, scripting, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to research, book high‑caliber guests, and coordinate graphics.
