Procurement Operations Manager

About the role

Our client in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking a Procurement Operations Manager to lead procurement operations, systems support, and process execution across the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle. The role is hybrid, combining on-site collaboration with remote work, and reports directly to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop procurement systems support resources, setting priorities and performance expectations.
• Serve as the primary intake point for procurement operational and system-related requests, managing prioritization and escalation.
• Oversee procurement systems support, issue resolution, user guidance, and process documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders—including Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal, IT—to support seamless Source-to-Pay processes.
• Monitor operational performance, analyze trends, and provide reporting and insights to leadership.
• Support system adoption, governance, training, and optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, supply chain, or Source-to-Pay environments.
• Prior leadership or people-management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, contracting, procure-to-pay, invoicing, and supplier management processes.
• Proven ability to manage operational workflows, prioritize competing demands, and lead issue resolution.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise procure-to-pay platforms.
