PRN RN – General Internal Medicine

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the G80 General Internal Medicine/Vascular Surgery Unit. This 34‑bed specialty unit provides comprehensive care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including internal medicine and vascular surgery services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions throughout their stay.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and serve as the primary liaison for all disciplines.
• Execute physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge needs.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Two years of recent related nursing experience (external candidates); internal candidates may be considered with CNO review.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
