PRN RN – ENT Plastics Stepdown / Internal Medicine

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to work on the G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine unit, which includes an 8‑bed ENT/Plastics step‑down unit and a 24‑bed internal medicine unit.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, including head and neck cancer, surgical flaps, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis and multi‑system failure.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient status, and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs for patients.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• External applicants: minimum two years of recent related nursing experience; internal applicants may be considered with less experience after orientation and review.

Required skills

• RN clinical skills for both ENT/Plastics and internal medicine patient populations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
