PRN ASC RN – PACU & Endoscopy

About the role

The Ambulatory Surgery Center at Coral Springs Family Health and Surgery Center seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to support Endoscopy and PACU services. You will care for pre‑ and post‑operative patients undergoing procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs, collaborating with physicians and anesthesia providers to ensure safe, high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs, develop and implement nursing plans, and oversee clinical practice in the ASC.
• Direct other caregivers, assume charge responsibilities, and resolve problems as they arise.
• Process patients through the ASC, provide health education, and maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in quality monitoring, cost‑effective practices, and ASC goal attainment.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
• At least one year of RN experience in peri‑operative or critical care, or three years as a Surgical Technician.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support within six months of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support for pediatric care.
• Ability to work days between 6:00 am–7:30 pm with on‑call requirements.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (when caring for pediatric patients).
