Private Tax Senior Associate – Japanese Business Network

About the role

PwC Private is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Japanese Business Network team. You will support privately‑owned companies, entrepreneurs and high‑net‑worth individuals with tax compliance, planning and broader business advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide audit, tax compliance and planning support to private companies across the business life‑cycle.
• Assist clients with wealth management, cash‑flow optimisation, equity expansion, divestiture and exit strategies.
• Apply PwC Professional skills: critical thinking, problem‑solving, quality review and ethical standards.
• Delegate tasks, coach junior team members and ensure delivery of high‑quality work.
• Extract insights from industry trends using appropriate tools and techniques.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with experience in private‑company tax advisory.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to structure unstructured problems.
• Effective communicator who can influence and build relationships.
• Commitment to continuous self‑development and adherence to PwC’s code of ethics.
