Private Investigator – Retired/Former Law Enforcement

About the role

We are seeking experienced retired or former law‑enforcement professionals to join our Special Investigations Unit (SIU) as Investigators. This position focuses on in‑depth insurance‑claim investigations, allowing you to apply your investigative expertise in a stable, growing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious insurance claims.
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and other parties; obtain written and recorded statements.
• Identify inconsistencies, detect fraud patterns, and document findings.
• Perform field investigations, scene inspections, and gather photographic evidence.
• Prepare professional reports and collaborate with legal teams and law‑enforcement agencies as needed.

Required profile

• Prior law‑enforcement or investigative background.
• Strong interviewing, observation, and report‑writing abilities.
• Critical thinking and ability to recognize fraud indicators.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, digital camera, and Windows‑based computer with internet access.
• Notary license preferred; bilingualism a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible/irregular hours.
