Private Equity Associate

About the role
Seaside Equity Partners is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its San Diego team. The associate will support the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to managing portfolio companies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation and execution of platform and add‑on acquisitions.
- Conduct business due diligence and in‑depth market research.
- Develop financial models and draft investment memoranda.
- Participate in site visits, management presentations and negotiations.
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams on value‑creation initiatives.
- Source investments through thematic thesis development and external intermediaries.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, consulting or private equity.
- Motivated self‑starter eager to contribute in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Team player with a high level of maturity.
- Excellent people and project management abilities.
