Private Duty RN/LPN – Weekend NOC Shift

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private‑duty, one‑on‑one care on weekend night‑on‑call (NOC) shifts. New graduates are welcome and will receive training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skilled, one‑on‑one nursing care in private homes, adult family homes, or assisted‑living communities.
• Perform nursing assessments, implement individualized plans of care, and document in electronic medical records.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and report changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary staff, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and compassionate, patient‑centered approach.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for multiple patient locations.
