Private Duty PCA/HHA Caregiver

About the role

Join BAYADA’s Assistive Care team as a Private Duty PCA/HHA, providing one‑on‑one support to adults in their homes across the Charleston Tri‑County area. You will help clients maintain independence while enjoying a flexible schedule and ongoing training.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and encourage range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of hands‑on care experience, or a Home Health Aide certificate, or CNA license.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Passion for caregiving, empathy, patience, and respect.
• Commitment to deliver care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
