Private Credit Investors Summer Intern

About the role

AllianceBernstein's Private Credit Investors (AB-PCI) is the private corporate credit investment platform of the firm, managing more than $26 billion of capital and advising private credit and equity funds. It invests in unitranche, first lien and second lien debt, private equity co-investments and structured preferred stock. This summer internship suits candidates interested in investment banking or buy-side investing such as private equity or private credit, and sits within investment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in corporate credit analysis, financial modeling and valuation skill building.
• Join investment teams and help with loan origination and underwriting.
• Take part in the investment decision-making process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree candidates with demonstrated academic excellence.
• Preference for May 2029 graduates (rising juniors); rising seniors also considered.
• Preference for Finance majors, but other technical business tracks considered.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good judgment, attention to detail, initiative and proactivity.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong work ethic and interest in investment banking, private equity or private credit.
