Private Client Advisor

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Private Client Advisor in Palm Beach Gardens. As part of the Client Advisory team, you will advise high net worth clients on business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and private client insurance, presenting accurate market data and proposing tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client exposures, loss experience and current coverages to recommend the best products and services
• Present accurate market data from reliable sources and help clients navigate complex risks
• Provide proactive day-to-day client service, answering questions in person, by phone or by email
• Gather information on risk management needs and financial loss tolerance, then evaluate and propose solutions
• Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and run annual Client Advisory reviews
• Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to offer comprehensive coverage options while complying with industry laws and regulations
• Drive client retention and new business through referrals and expanded client programs

Required profile

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience with high net worth clientele
• Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• Client service orientation with a balance of managing expectations
• Willingness to travel for client and company meetings as needed
• Bachelor's degree and professional designations (e.g. CPCU, CIC, CPRIA) are a plus but not required
• Experience with luxury carriers such as AIG, Chubb and PURE is a plus
