Private Banker – Mexico Coverage

About the role

Santander Private Bank is seeking a Private Banker to serve affluent clients with a minimum of $3MM in investable assets. Based in Houston, the role focuses on Mexico and broader Latin American coverage, delivering high‑touch service and proactive relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and retain relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals across Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and other Latin American markets.
• Analyze investment opportunities and corporate financial reports to provide informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with Investment Advisors to expand client wallet share and deliver integrated banking, credit, asset and risk management solutions.
• Provide up‑to‑date investment information and execute client investment decisions.
• Work with Private Wealth, Product and Compliance teams to create targeted sales strategies and cross‑business synergies.

Required profile

• Experience serving high‑net‑worth clients with a focus on wealth preservation and growth.
• Strong analytical ability to review financial statements and assess investment prospects.
• Proactive, disciplined approach to relationship expansion and retention.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the main point of contact for clients.
