Print & Embellishment Associate Designer

About the role

Cinq à Sept is looking for a creative Print & Embellishment Associate Designer to develop both vintage‑inspired and original print artwork for its mainline and casual collections. You will collaborate closely with senior design leaders and cross‑functional teams to ensure prints align with the brand’s sophisticated aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Design print artworks from purchased vintage prints and create original patterns for the Mainline and Tous Les Jours collections.
• Partner with the Senior Designer throughout the entire print development process.
• Coordinate with the Color Designer and Fabric R&D to validate colour accuracy and technical feasibility.
• Communicate regularly with overseas mills to address colour comments and resolve development issues.
• Support the team on embroidery and embellishment layouts when needed.
• Attend weekly development calendar meetings and manage design deadlines, ensuring alignment with the print and artwork schedule.
• Participate in work‑in‑progress meetings with Product Development, Fabric, and Technical teams, flagging any issues promptly.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of experience in a luxury or contemporary fashion environment.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of print and embellishment development.
• Team‑player mindset with excellent communication and initiative.
• High attention to detail, aesthetic sensibility, and strong organizational skills.
