Principal Public Relations Representative – Integrated Communication

About the role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Public Relations Representative to lead integrated communications for the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division in Roy, Utah. You will shape communication strategies that inform employees, suppliers, and the public about critical defense programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic media campaigns for internal and external audiences.
• Create, write, and edit communications materials—including press releases, newsletters, and web content—to educate stakeholders.
• Provide crisis communications support and manage high‑stakes media moments.
• Collaborate with digital, marketing, employee, and program communications teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Prepare written, video, and graphic content that highlights innovation stories and supports employee engagement events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations or strategic communications, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
• Strong writing and editing abilities for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage crisis situations and high‑visibility media interactions.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
