Principal OT Product Security Architect

About the role

The Principal OT Product Security Architect will lead technical security for Dematic’s OT products, ensuring they are secure by design and protect customer supply chain operations across a wide range of automation and robotics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain OT cybersecurity architecture, standards, and reference models for all Dematic products.
• Lead security design reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing across OT, software, controls, networking, and cloud environments.
• Translate IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, and EU CRA requirements into concrete product specifications.
• Integrate secure‑by‑design and DevSecOps principles throughout the product lifecycle and support certification and audit activities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, OT/ICS security, or product security with a strong background in industrial automation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to influence technical decisions across engineering and business teams without direct authority.

Required skills

• OT/ICS architecture, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial networking, segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, secure remote access.
• Threat modeling, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security monitoring, risk‑based remediation.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, EU Cyber Resilience Act.
• Scripting/automation with Python or PowerShell; familiarity with Windows/Linux and cloud environments.
