About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for Fern Creek Elementary School for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position starts at 9:40 am and follows the district’s standard schedule of 187 days per year, working 7 hours each day.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction for kindergarten through 5th grade based on the approved curriculum.
• Monitor, evaluate, and communicate student progress through records and reports.
• Enforce board policies, regulations, and rules while supervising students.
• Secure and maintain school property, instructional materials, and classroom resources.

Required profile

• Valid Kentucky certification appropriate for K‑5 grade level and curricular assignment.
• Experience and preparation as required by the Board of Education.
