Pricing Manager

About the role

HD Supply is looking for a Pricing Manager in Atlanta to lead a team of Pricing Analysts. The manager develops and uses data insights to price the business-to-business distributor's assortment, working with stakeholders from other functions so that pricing supports both sales performance and company profitability. Less than 10% of the time involves travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the organization's price strategy.
• Advise senior merchandising leaders on all pricing decisions.
• Ensure competitive insights, data and price elasticity are part of the price strategy.
• Analyze sales trends and transactions to make sure pricing meets all market levels.
• Partner with peer leaders to design, test and implement customer discount approaches.
• Review and improve operating processes and performance metrics related to list prices and business performance.
• Manage a group of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervise support staff.

Required profile

• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in pricing or a related field; 5+ years in distribution preferred.
• Experience leading and influencing teams, directly and indirectly.
• Ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
