Preventive Medicine Physician – Active Duty Navy (Up to $400k Bonus)

About the role

The U.S. Navy is seeking fully trained, board‑eligible or board‑certified Preventive Medicine Physicians to serve as active‑duty Medical Corps Officers. This full‑time, onsite position offers the chance to protect the health of Sailors, Marines, and their families while enjoying competitive compensation and extensive benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate occupational, environmental, and operational health threats to force health protection.
• Provide preventive medicine services across diverse military installations worldwide.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to sustain readiness and health of service members.
• Participate in health surveillance, disease prevention programs, and health education initiatives.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified).
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Preventive Medicine residency (or in final year).
• Board certification in Preventive Medicine (or in final year).
• U.S. citizenship.
• Age between 21 and 57 (Title 10 U.S. Code sections 531 and 532).
