President & CEO – Trade Association

About the role

EASA is seeking an experienced Executive Director to serve as President & CEO, leading strategic initiatives and shaping the future of the association.

Key responsibilities

• Lead organizational change and execute EASA’s strategic plan.
• Develop and manage a team of 20+ staff across programs, technical support, marketing, and finance.
• Oversee business affairs, including legal, financial, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure strong governance, board relations, and fiscal health.
• Provide executive leadership for the Annual EASA Convention and other industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Minimum ten years of progressive executive leadership experience.
• Proven success working with Boards of Directors and volunteer leadership.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (≈15%).

• Base salary $200,000 – $225,000 plus bonus.
