About the role

Ardent Preschool, an award-winning preschool and daycare serving families across Birmingham and Huntsville, is hiring preschool and daycare teachers in its Town Madison location. Both full-time and part-time openings are available, with flexible scheduling depending on classroom needs.

Part-time schedules include Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing and structured classroom environment
Implement age-appropriate lessons and engaging activities
Support children's emotional, social and cognitive development
Maintain positive communication with parents and families
Ensure compliance with safety and licensing guidelines

Required profile

Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred
Passion for early childhood education
Dependable, positive and professional attitude
Team-oriented mindset
Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply; bilingual skills are a plus but not required
