About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers for a seasonal, temporary position. You will work flexible hours, applying your knowledge of individual tax law to help clients file accurate returns in a dynamic office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual federal and state tax returns.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer tax‑related questions.
• Utilize tax preparation software to ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.

Required profile

• At least two tax‑season experiences preparing individual returns.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality client service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn.
• Preferred background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or sales.
