About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers for a seasonal, temporary position. You will work in a dynamic office environment, helping individual clients file their federal and state tax returns while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual income tax returns accurately and on time.
• Interact with clients to gather necessary documentation and answer tax‑related questions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with current tax laws and regulations.
• Utilize tax preparation software to input data and generate filings.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all tax standards.

Required profile

• At least two tax‑season experiences preparing individual returns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused setting.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new tools.
• Preferred background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or sales.
