Prep Cook - Coastal Credit Union Music Park

About the role

This position prepares and cooks food items in a fast-casual space at Coastal Credit Union Music Park, with the aim of ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing food revenues. It is based in Raleigh.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times, and uphold a guest service philosophy shared with colleagues.
• Meet regularly with supervision to review assignments, expected business levels, changes and other matters affecting job performance.
• Serve only the highest-quality product and keep equipment in good working order, cleaned regularly.
• Follow County health and sanitation standards and Legends Hospitality standards.
• Rotate to other service locations when needed and perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Ideal candidate is ServSafe certified; must be at least 18 years old.
• Ideal candidate has a culinary degree or a certified apprenticeship, with 2-3 years of cooking experience in contract foodservice, preferably in premium services, catering and concessions at a sports and/or entertainment venue.
• Flexible to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Team player who can stay calm under pressure and make decisions without immediate supervision.
• Organization, attention to detail and strong customer service orientation.
