Premium Supervisor - Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a Premium Supervisor for the VIP area at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater in Phoenix. The supervisor oversees stand workers, manages set-up and closing procedures, keeps workstations clean and stocked, and ensures food preparation and alcohol policies are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of stand workers in the VIP area
• Oversee and/or take part in stand set-up and closing, including counting inventory, preparation and cleaning
• Keep workstations clean and well stocked, and order replacement stock from runners
• Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Ensure employees follow alcohol policies and that food preparation meets Legends and the board of health guidelines
• Be knowledgeable of all positions and able to fill any position in the location if needed
• At closing, help count ending inventory, clean equipment and organize stock for the next event
• Work with the customer service department to improve service, and input daily event sheets and reports
• Handle area schedules, make changes, print and post them, and do inventory at assigned locations
• Provide personal service to guests, maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with service, inventory and cash control procedures
• Follow safety policies, report safety incidents through the company's risk management system, and complete safety training

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end club, restaurant or catering location
• High school diploma; some college preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcohol service

Required skills

• Knowledge of the POS system, including voids, credit card issues and closing procedures
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials and services
• Knowledge of the venue layout and assigned area
• Ability to read and maintain information, perform simple math calculations, and speak, read, write and understand English
