Hawker - Talking Sticks Resorts Amphitheatre

About the role

Legends, a holistic agency serving brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors, is hiring a Hawker for the Talking Sticks Resorts Amphitheatre in Phoenix. On event days, the Hawker sells food and/or beverage through the concourse and in-stand, while also enhancing the fan experience.

Key responsibilities

• Walk the venue and aggressively sell products through the concourse and in-stand
• Offer the highest level of customer service to internal and external guests
• Perform inventories and settle cash sales after the event
• Maintain product knowledge and handle stock replenishment
• Control inventory and keep a professional attitude and appearance
• Seek ways to enhance the fan experience and live the company's 7 Pillars of service, teamwork, continuous improvement, change and fun

Required profile

• Able to transfer high energy into sales and able to do math without a cash drawer
• Outgoing, effective interpersonal and oral communication skills, and a team player
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and to work under pressure
• Physical ability to walk up and down stairs while carrying up to 20 lbs
• Follows safety policies and completes company-wide and job-specific safety training
