About the role

The Pre-Employment Review Nurse conducts physical examinations for prospective employees, ensuring all assessments meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This position supports hiring teams by providing timely health clearances and managing occupational health concerns.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑employment physicals and provide hiring recommendations.
• Oversee TB testing and fit‑testing programs.
• Tri­age and manage work‑related injuries and illnesses in collaboration with the Case Management Team.
• Follow up with clinicians, obtain provider clearances, and maintain accurate health records.
• Maintain relationships with Occupational Health Clinics nationwide.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FDA, and emergency planning policies.
• Utilize clinical portals and coordinate with multiple departments to streamline the hiring process.
• Document and organize employee physicals to meet accreditation standards.
• Provide on‑call support for low‑volume evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Required profile

• Active RN license with experience in occupational health or employee health assessments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FDA safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinicians, providers, and employees.
• Capacity to triage injuries remotely and coordinate case management.
• Detail‑oriented approach to record‑keeping and compliance.
