Pre-Construction Engineer

About the role

Ragle Inc. is looking for a detail‑oriented Pre‑Construction Engineer to bridge estimating and field operations. You will coordinate pricing, procurement, jobsite setup, documentation, and technical review of contract documents while working closely with the Preconstruction Team, Project Managers, and Field Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Attend procurement and handover meetings.
• Develop and maintain Master Pricing Lists for construction materials.
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify pre‑construction needs.
• Assist with jobsite staging areas and field office setup, including utilities and leases.
• Coordinate procurement of water meters and jobsite fuel.
• Obtain CAD files from owners and prepare related documentation.
• Prepare and submit pre‑construction paperwork such as Notice of Intents and Material Source Letters.
• Coordinate concrete and asphalt plant setups, including permitting and documentation.
• Support project closeout documentation.
• Review and assist with preparation of LOIs, Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, and Addendums.
• Provide backup support to the Preconstruction Team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, OR 1–2 years experience in heavy civil public‑sector construction projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Capacity to handle high‑volume workloads.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to changing project needs.
• Willingness to drive to various projects in the DFW area and work from the North Richland Hills office.
