Practical Nursing Instructor – Full-time

About the role

Lanier Technical College’s Hall County campus is seeking a full‑time Practical Nursing Instructor to join its Allied Health team. The instructor will deliver classroom and clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing certificate program, supporting student success and program accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess practical nursing coursework across campus locations.
• Supervise nursing students in clinical sites and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Provide student advisement, registration assistance, and support orientation and graduation events.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Allied Health and the Practical Nursing Program Director on curriculum development and continuous program improvement.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Active Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Minimum three years of recent nursing experience (within the past seven years).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience teaching adult learners and supervising nursing students.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) proficiency.
