Power Platform Automation Specialist

About the role

A contractor is sought to support a client in Greenville, SC or Aiken, SC as a Power Platform Automation Specialist. The period of performance is 6+ months, and US citizenship is required. The specialist will architect, build and implement collaboration solutions using the Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) High Power Platform, focusing on Power Automate workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Work with customers, vendors, consultants and management to define project requirements and align software solutions with organizational goals.
• Lead project status meetings, confirm milestones and coordinate planning, monitoring, reporting and documentation.
• Assist in workflow software projects, including design, testing and deployment, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Communicate progress, escalate complex issues and maintain documentation such as coding standards, procedures and user manuals.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, and promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, data privacy, cybersecurity standards and Fluor's health, safety and environmental policies; may need to travel and must meet attendance expectations.

Required profile

• US citizenship required.
• Four-year accredited degree or equivalent, with five years of work experience, or a combination of education and experience equal to nine years if non-degreed.
• Preferred: experience developing complex workflows for large projects, building model-driven and Canvas apps in Power Apps, and working with Microsoft SQL or Dataverse.
• Preferred: construction, architecture or engineering (AEC) industry experience; experience with Kahua is a strong differentiator but not required.
• Effective communication with management, clients, vendors and contractors, attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

Required skills

• Power Automate and Power Apps (model-driven and Canvas apps)
• Power BI and Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant (SharePoint Online, Power Pages, Dataverse)
• Data modeling and architecture with SQL or Dataverse
• Preferred: transforming legacy SharePoint workflows to Power Automate flows, and knowledge of NIST 800-171 and CMMC
