Kahua Automation Specialist

About the role

A contractor is sought to support a client in Aiken, SC, working on workflow-related IT projects focused on the enterprise EPC workflow system Kahua. The period of performance is 6+ months and US citizenship is required. The role involves systems analysis, design, development, documentation, testing or modification of workflow systems and programs, and may involve collaboration with customers, vendors, consultants and management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain planning, monitoring, reporting and documentation for project tasks.
• Work with team members and stakeholders to align software solutions with organizational goals.
• Assist in workflow development projects, including design, testing and deployment, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Contribute to the development and coding of enterprise-level software applications.
• Take part in issue identification, process impact and solution discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Keep documentation such as coding standards, procedures and user manuals up to date.
• Stay informed on industry trends and technologies, and promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, data privacy, cybersecurity and health, safety and environmental standards, and adhere to attendance and punctuality requirements.
• May travel for business matters and may need to assist with special project issues.

Required profile

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling nine years; current Fluor employees may be considered.
• Five years of work-related experience, or nine years if non-degreed.
• Experience developing complex workflows for large projects preferred.
• Construction, architecture or engineering (AEC) industry experience preferred but not required.
• US citizenship required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in programming languages, frameworks and tools relevant to enterprise application development.
• Experience building workflow automation solutions with Kahua, Power Automate, Aconex or similar platforms preferred.
• Effective communication with management, clients, vendors and contractors.
