Postdoctoral Research Associate in Microfluidics

About the role

The professor is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct experimental research on diffusiophoresis in microfluidic channels, focusing on particle dynamics under solute gradients and developing new manipulation methods.

Key responsibilities

• Perform experimental studies of diffusiophoresis and particle dynamics in microfluidic devices.
• Develop and test new methods for particle manipulation in complex geometries.
• Analyze data and prepare manuscripts for high‑impact journals.
• Maintain the laboratory and supervise graduate and undergraduate students.

Required profile

• PhD in a science or engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science).
• Highly motivated with a strong interest in experimental microfluidics.

Required skills

• Experimental microfluidics techniques.
• Particle dynamics analysis.
• Experience with diffusiophoresis or related fluid phenomena.

What we offer

• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and paid time off.
• Tuition assistance, wellness programs, retirement plans, and commuting support.
