About the role
We are seeking an on‑call Substitute Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year at Kingsley Montessori School. This part‑time position supports classroom teachers and provides a valuable entry point into Montessori education.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritize student safety and well‑being during all activities.
- Support classroom routines, behavioral expectations, and monitor arrivals, dismissals, lunch, recess, bathroom and hallway traffic.
- Assist faculty with class organization, material preparation, and oversee indoor and outdoor breaks and study halls.
- Share lunch duties and provide general classroom support as needed.
Required profile
- College degree or current enrollment in a degree program.
- Ability to work cooperatively with students, peers, coworkers, and supervisors.
