Postdoctoral Research Associate – Cancer Therapeutics

About the role
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will lead translational pharmacology projects in cancer therapeutics, with an initial focus on natural‑killer cell fortification, within the Drug Discovery Resource Center.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct translational pharmacology research in cancer therapeutics, emphasizing natural‑killer cell fortification.
- Develop and perform biochemical, cell‑based, immunologic, imaging and computational assays.
- Analyze research data, summarize results and interpret findings in the context of drug discovery.
- Coordinate activities with the Drug Discovery Resource Center leadership and external partners such as MD Anderson Cancer Center.
- Prepare manuscripts, research papers and contribute to scientific publications.
Required profile
- PhD in pharmacology, cancer biology, biomedical sciences or a related discipline.
- Experience in translational research and drug‑discovery workflows.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work full‑time, including occasional weekends or extended hours, and travel as required.
