Postdoctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics and Multi‑omics

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Cancer Sciences Lab, led by Dr. Ying Ni, seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to conduct independent research on bioinformatics and multi‑omics integration related to cancer progression and therapeutic response. This full‑time, fixed‑term position provides practical training in a world‑class research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute independent projects focused on data generation, analysis, interpretation, and manuscript preparation.
• Analyze multi‑omics datasets, perform statistical testing, and explore public genomics resources.

Required profile

• PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field (MD with substantial lab experience may substitute).
• Demonstrated research experience, scientific writing ability, and strong communication skills.
• English proficiency proof for visa holders (J‑1, J‑2, F‑1/OPT).

Required skills

• Programming in R or Python.
• Knowledge of general statistics and machine learning modeling.
• Experience with bioinformatics and multi‑omics data analysis.
