About the role
The University of Miami seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Associate to advance research at the intersection of public health, psychology, and implementation science. Working under the direction of Dr. Audrey Harkness, you will contribute to studies addressing HIV and behavioral health disparities in key populations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, conduct, and analyze independent and collaborative research projects.
- Prepare manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals and sections of extramural grant proposals.
- Apply advanced analytical models to support research objectives.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students involved in the lab.
- Assist in grant writing and submission to funding agencies.
Required profile
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in public health, psychology, health services research, implementation science or related field.
- Experience with NIH‑funded studies and project coordination.
- Strong record of manuscript preparation and data analysis.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team.
