About the role
The UHealth System at the University of Miami seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join Dr. Priyamvada Rai’s laboratory at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The lab focuses on redox biology, cancer metabolism, and stress‑adaptive pathways that drive tumor progression and therapeutic resistance.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate redox signaling mechanisms that contribute to tumor progression and therapy resistance.
- Study metabolic crosstalk between cancer cells and the tumor microenvironment.
- Conduct translational studies that bridge mechanistic insights to therapeutic strategies, collaborating with clinical teams.
- Prepare and analyze data for publication and grant submissions.
Required profile
- Strong track record in cancer research with first‑author publications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of independent problem solving.
- US citizenship or permanent residency is strongly preferred.
