Porter / Groundskeeper for Student Living Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the physical appearance and safety of the Union on Fletcher student living community. The role supports the service team by keeping common areas, amenities, and grounds clean and attractive.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep all common areas tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transfer it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with the make‑ready process.
• Change locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.
