Population Health Manager – Northwest Arkansas

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Regional Population Health Manager to lead population health and value‑based care initiatives across its Primary Care Population Health Service Line in Northwest Arkansas.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinic leadership teams to meet quality and performance metrics.
• Design and implement projects that improve patient outcomes and care delivery.
• Lead and mentor Population Health Improvement Assistants.
• Report to the Quality Director for Population Health and Value‑Based Care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field (Master’s or BSN preferred).
• At least three years of quality improvement or program management experience; five years in clinical quality improvement is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently between Fort Smith, Fayetteville, and Springdale.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records, preferably EPIC.
• Knowledge of HEDIS measures, risk adjustment (HCC), and quality improvement methodologies.
