About the role
IT8 is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to develop and manage robot control for production lines. The position is based in Mexico with the possibility to travel and temporarily relocate to the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Develop code and sequence programming in PLC environments.
- Perform control engineering for processor‑based programs.
- Automate processes for production lines.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel and temporarily relocate to the USA.
- TN Visa or equivalent work authorization for the United States.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC programming software.
- Proficiency with Siemens PLC programming software.
