Platform Engineer III

About the role

Responsible for building outstanding software solutions to drive business success. You will design and maintain the company’s infrastructure that powers large‑scale conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain platform uptime, performance, stability and scalability.
• Design, guide, mentor and challenge system architecture and design.
• Develop and maintain a public API and extensible solutions from feature requests.
• Work with big‑data technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop and Spark.
• Collaborate with data scientists to create value‑added features.
• Partner with DBAs to build ETL pipelines and data‑warehouse systems.
• Automate operations to increase service reliability and monitor production systems.
• Define and implement deployment strategies for client‑facing and internal tools.

Required profile

• Experience in software and systems development.
• Strong background in Linux administration.
• Proficiency with cloud providers (AWS, Digital Ocean, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of IT security best practices.
• Experience with automation/configuration tools (Puppet, Ansible) and orchestration (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
• Solid knowledge of computer networking.
• Experience operating at production scale.
