About the role
Ensemble Music Schools is looking for a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part‑time at the Schaumburg Music Academy in Schaumburg, IL. The position requires in‑person instruction and offers flexible scheduling within the school’s open hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Maintain a consistent lesson schedule and demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
Required profile
- Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a routine background check.
Required skills
- Proficiency in piano performance and instruction.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and pedagogy.
