Physician/MD or NP/PA – Youth Residential Program (Part‑Time)

About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Primary Care Physician or qualified NP/PA to provide on‑site medical services for a federally supported residential youth program in Chadron, Nebraska. This part‑time position involves direct clinical care for young adults aged 16‑24 and collaboration with residential staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical evaluations within 48 hours of student entry and provide routine primary‑care services.
• Order, review, and oversee entry laboratory studies and immunizations, including hemoglobin, pregnancy, Pap smears, STI testing, HIV testing, urine drug screens, hepatitis B, and tuberculin skin testing.
• Perform vision and hearing screenings, assess and treat acute and chronic conditions, and prescribe medications in coordination with nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary staff, refer to off‑site specialists when needed, and promote preventive health education.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with federal program standards and healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted Physician license in Nebraska (or NP/PA credentials) with ability to practice independently.
• Current DEA registration, CPR/AED certification, and active malpractice and general liability insurance.
• Experience in adolescent health, family medicine, community health, or similar primary‑care settings preferred.
